Dr Farhad Rahbar (Persian: فرهاد رهبر, born in 1959 in Semnan) is an Iranian economist, and current Chancellor of the University of Tehran.
Rahbar was a vice president of Iran and head of Management and Planning Organisation of Iran. He has also worked as the Deputy for economic affairs at the Ministry of Intelligence.
As of February 2008, he is the president of University of Tehran, replacing Ayatollah Amid Zanjani.[1]
